Renegades tussle
Nationally ranked Division 1 Men's club side - The Atlanta Renegades - stormed onto the field on Saturday looking to test experience against a young Red Wolves squad. The wet field and light showers that accompanied the afternoon breeze, gave spectators and fans a reason to believe that the game could go either way. However, it was a hard fought battle going into the break of the first half as both sides looked to out hit and out run each other from the kick-off.

The Red wolves, led by Captain, Andries Wessels, were determined against a strong Renegades side as they went stroke for stroke into the half with the Red Wolves leading 13-7. Six points from the boot of fly-half , Pat Sullivan and a try from Roland Evans saw ASU open the second half with the confidence of being ahead on the scoreboard. The game soon became a one sided affair as the Arkansas State boys fitness began to show pushing the final score to a hard fought 57-12 victory.

"We would like to thank the Renegades for making the long drive to Jonesboro. It is much appreciated." - Coach Huckaby Snr.
