A newly outfitted Red Wolves rugby team ran onto the field, Saturday with hopes to maintain their undefeated pre-season record. On the other hand, the Florida State University Seminoles, were out to end the Red Wolves winning momentum. Kick-off started a little later than usual, but it was off to a good start as ASU capitalized on every ball possession. ASU ended the first half with a 68-0 lead with most tries being scored from quick turnovers and advantages to the home side.
The Seminoles did not lose hope coming into the second half as they took recognition of mistakes noted in the First half and built up good drive forward against the Red Wolves. However, all attempts proved futile to a strong ASU defence that held the game to a 96-3 win at the stroke of full-time.
